House Rules

Each week, pick up to 10 games (any mix of NFL and NCAA) against the spread. There's no penalty for picking fewer than 10- pick as many or as few as you want, including zero. You're only scored on the games you actually pick.

• Win against the spread: +1 point
• Loss against the spread: -1 point
• Push (spread lands exactly on the line): 0 points- doesn't count as a win or loss, and can't trigger a Lone Wolf bonus.

Runs automatically every week on every game - no need to flag anything yourself. For each game, everyone's pick on that game is grouped by chosen team:

• If exactly one player picked one side, and two or more other players picked the other side, that lone player is a Lone Wolf on that game.
• If the Lone Wolf's side covers the spread, they earn 10x their normal points for that game instead of the usual +1.
• If the Lone Wolf's side loses, it's just a normal -1 loss - no extra penalty for going against the crowd.
• A straight 1-vs-1 split doesn't count- that's just two players disagreeing, not one player standing alone against a real majority. The other side needs at least 2 picks for the minority side to qualify.
• Everyone on the majority side scores normally regardless of what happens to the Lone Wolf.

Some games (playoffs, marquee rivalries) are worth extra - the admin can mark a game 2x, 3x, etc. Multipliers stack with the Lone Wolf bonus: a 2x game won as a Lone Wolf pays out 20x your normal points (1 point x 2x multiplier x 10x Lone Wolf).

If a game you picked gets postponed or cancelled, that pick scores 0 points- it's not removed, and it can't factor into that game's Lone Wolf calculation, but it also doesn't count against you.

Spreads are pulled once, early in the week, and frozen for every game - they never update again regardless of later line movement at sportsbooks. Everyone picks against the same opening line, no matter when in the week they submit.

Each game locks individually at its own kickoff time, not at the start of the week. Missed Thursday's game? You can still pick every other game still upcoming that week - there's no week-wide deadline and no penalty for picking late in the week instead of early.
